A shift-start system check for Philippines call center teams
Confirm access, audio, routing, and escalation contacts before the first customer reaches the queue.
The shift check should cover the tools needed for that queue, not every system in the company. Agents can confirm sign-in, headset input and output, phone status, CRM access, knowledge availability, and the current escalation contact.
Run the check early enough to report a fault before coverage begins. A successful login yesterday does not prove that a password, role, network route, or phone configuration still works today.
Use a safe test record or designated test path. Agents should not open a real customer account merely to prove access, and they should never share credentials to work around a failed login.
Record exceptions with an owner and coverage decision. Supervisors can compare recurring failures by tool and shift, then fix the access or readiness problem instead of treating late queue entry as an unexplained attendance issue.
