Offshore call center peak-holiday handoffs for open customer promises
Prepare holiday coverage around unresolved work, reduced hours, escalation owners, and customer communication.
List the promises and deadlines that cross the holiday period, then assign each to a named owner with a backup. Include callbacks, appointments, complaints, payment questions, and cases waiting on a specialist decision.
Publish the coverage window, emergency route, approved customer message, and stop rules before the reduced schedule begins. A shorter queue is not a safe queue if the remaining work has no receiving owner.
After the period, compare overdue work and repeat contacts with the handoff list. Keep the changes that improved continuity and retire instructions that no longer match the actual coverage pattern.
